The 2008 Chateau Gazin shows a deep dark hue. The nose, pretty closed at different breathing stages, exudes generous currant and black fruit scents when open. This Pomerol is renowned for its charming and round character. The vintage reveals bold fruits, marked by commanding black fruits. The palate is precise, refreshing attack, somewhat dense tannins coated with fruity flesh: very pleasant and delectable. The finish is quite persistent with hint of cocoa powder.
