Eclipse is the embodiment of the Mount Gay style, body and aroma by which the Master Blender Trudiann Branker uses to blend every variety of Mount Gay rum. Eclipse is distilled in traditional copper port and column stills, then matured in ex-American whiskey casks, giving the blend notes of fresh vanilla, almond, ripe banana and dark chocolate, perfect for cocktails. With elegance and body, it is perfect in classic rum cocktails like a Rum Punch, or enjoyed with your favourite mixer. 

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Distinctive notes of vanilla and banana, with underlying notes of caramel, summer fruit and spice

Palate: An oaky character with slight burnt notes

Body: Light to medium body
